Whether you need help on a specific project or on a regular basis, Agency a la Carte can help. We also can provide an entire team of senior-level professionals to build your communications program or a few team members to complete your group. Our services always give you the right people for the right project.
Most of our professionals work from home offices and are long-term freelancers. They charge by the hour or by the project. We bill you at an agreed-upon rate, retain our commission from what you pay us, and pay the freelancer the balance.
Contract assignments
We assign contractors to work on site at your place of business. The contractor may fill in for an employee on leave, fill in while you search for a permanent employee or perform the job on a long-term basis while retaining independent contractor status.
Professionals from entry- to senior-level are available to staff these assignments. They are employed by Agency a la Carte while working at your site and are covered by our workers’ compensation and corporate liability policies. Those who work a minimum number of hours on average each week are eligible for Agency a la Carte employee benefits. We even manage the contractual details so you don’t have to be concerned with long-term contractor co-employment issues.
Full-time employees
Agency a la Carte can be retained to recruit the right candidate for your full-time position. We have successfully placed employees for agencies, corporations and nonprofit organizations.
The customary fee for recruitment of an employee for direct hire is 25%-35% of the first year's compensation.
Should you prefer a temp-to-hire arrangement, we will combine the temporary assignment with a full-time hire. We will provide you with a temporary employee who is interested in the possibility of full-time employment. He or she works by the hour until such time as you are ready to hire. Upon hiring, you pay a pre-determined recruitment fee less commissions paid to date. Commissions in this situation are subject to case-by-case negotiation.
